I’ve been wanting a nugget ice maker for years. After checking out so many options, I decided to go with this one, and it was a great choice! I use it all the time.

There is also its self-cleaning function, just hold down the "on/off" button for 5 seconds, the ice machine will automatically run the cleaning cycle, which is very easy to maintain.

I ordered this ice maker as a replacement for my old ice makers, and comparatively this one work well. The unit has a sleek black design that was easy to set up and after the initial run, we started making ice. The unit makes the ice very quickly and offers one size which is close to crushed ice and not your typical cubes. The display on the unit is easy to read showing power, level of ice and to add water if needed. The water is easy to add with the removable water reservoir in the back of the unit. Once the ice basket is full, the ice stops being produced until it detects more is needed. To retrieve the ice, you simply pull the lever, and it drops out. The unit is a bit loud at times, and this is when the unit turns the ice so that it does not freeze and clump as a single batch.

This is a great little ice maker. It sets up easily and requires minimal cleaning and maintenance. The ice it makes is soft and small, making it great for drinks. I have begun using it for my pendleton in the evening and it works perfectly. My wife likes it because we can use distilled water for the ice, so it does not bother her system. I enjoy the little ice maker because it does not take up much counter space. It is worth every cent.

This countertop ice maker makes that light crunchy pellet ice found in many soda fountains at restaurants. It’s easy to set up and get started but there is a fair amount of maintenance required to keep it in good condition and maintain a safe product. Because it involves water you want to make sure to clean it regularly as instructed in the manual. Any time it’s not in use or turned on the water needs to be drained and the components kept dry to avoid and mildew or mold build up. Another important aspect to cleaning is to descale it with a solution of vinegar or citric acid. There’s a card that comes with the appliance with a US map with shaded indicators where water is “soft” to “hard water” depending on the geographic area. I’m In a “moderately hard water” area so it recommends twice weekly descaling by pouring a dilution of white vinegar and water to run through the cleaning cycle. I’ve been using filtered water (Brita) to help mitigate some of the mineral buildup from the water. The appliance also creates a considerable amount of noise due to the refrigerant mechanism and fan. And the size of the unit is also something to consider. Having good counter space will help or would be good on a separate wet bar area. The tank that holds the water is easy to fill and remove for cleaning. The ice that it produces is definitely a plus. I have an ice maker in my freezer but it’s cubed hard ice. This soft pellet ice makes for great iced tea or chilled water in my thermal bottle.

10/10. This thing is wayyyyyyy bigger than I expected. Looks so nice. I love black appliances the ice production is like the hospital ice!! Loveeee it. Very easy to use and set up. I love the cleaning feature. I do wish the drainage part was bigger but over nice.

Wow! This ice machine delivers fast and simple set up, with its own dispenser to eliminate a need for a scoop! The machine is efficient and started cranking out ice very quickly on set up. The nugget shape is our favorite for all drinks. The machine comes with easy cleaning instructions and recommendations to keep your machine operational and clean. Would totally recommend this. It’s even quiet and fits easily on our countertop under the cabinets.

This ice maker is why I wanted to be a Vine member! The ice is perfect! Soft, crunchy, and plentiful. The size of the machine will fit under your counter easily. It is noisy and runs often, but it’s white noise IMO. You do need to keep the water reservoir filled. It pops out easily. Just make sure it fully sets into place. It’s sleek looking. I would prefer a drawer, bc I’m worried about the lever breaking. Price is okay.

I bought this countertop ice maker specifically because it produces the soft, chewable nugget ice like you get at Sonic, and on that front, it absolutely delivers. The ice quality is excellent - perfectly crunchy and great for sodas and cocktails alike. The capacity is reasonable for a countertop unit. The water reservoir holds just under 2 quarts, which produces a decent amount of ice over about 6 hours. That's enough for our household's daily needs, though you do store off some of it in a freezer if you want enough ice for a party.

Great if you use a lot of ice. The machine is easy to use and clean

Set up was easy. I followed the directions provided. Filled up the water reservoir at 8:00pm. At 10:00pm the add water light was on. Added more water and it went back to work making ice. At 6:00am the ice full indicator was lite up. Dispensed ice and it looks like the sonic ice. I highly recommend it. I will do a follow up review after I’ve had it for a while.

This ice maker is so nice! Just right size for countertop. Not too bulky. Ice cubes are good size. We take it with us in our motorhome all the time. Easy to use. Great price too!

I bought this ice maker the ice is absolutely amazing. I love that you don’t have to use a scooper. I had a little issue with noise and this company worked with me to resolve and make things right. Highly recommend
